Hi! I’m Michael Hamburg, a stage manager studying  at the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), pursuing a BFA in Theatre Design and Production. At CCM, I’ve had the opportunity to stage manage a wide range of productions—including musicals, plays, opera, dance, and concerts—developing a strong foundation in both artistic collaboration and technical precision. 

Before CCM, I spent years exploring many areas of theater, and that broad background continues to inform my leadership and empathy in the rehearsal room. When I’m not in the booth or backstage, you can find me hiking, reading, visiting local plant shops, or spending time with friends.

Stage management starts with people. I strive to create a collaborative environment where artists feel heard, respected, and empowered to do our best work. I’m passionate about telling meaningful stories and building inclusive, creative spaces—and I’m always eager for the next adventure.
